Earlier this year, I accidentally stabbed myself on the palm. I was trying to open a 5 gallon bottle of water with a sharp paring knife. It slipped and a good 2 centimeters embedded itself on the fleshy part of my left palm.
It took a long time to close up and even now when I run my finger through it, I can feel the scar tissue beneath.
